أعلنت أكاديمية علوم وفنون الصور المتحركة القائمة القصيرة لجوائز الأوسكار في 9 فئات من أصل 24 فئة، وتشمل: أفضل فيلم دولي، أفضل فيلم وثائقي، أفضل فيلم وثائقي قصير، أفضل مكياج وتصفيف شعر، أفضل موسيقي تصويرية، أفضل أغنية أصلية، أفضل فيلم رسوم متحركة قصير، أفضل فيلم قصير، أفضل مؤثرات بصرية.
واختتم التصويت على القائمة القصيرة في 5 فبراير الجاري، وستنتقل هذه الأعمال للمرحلة التالية من التصويت التي تجري خلال الفترة من 5 – 9 مارس المقبل، وتعلن ترشيحات جوائز الأوسكار في 15 مارس، ويقام حفل توزيع الجوائز في 24 أبريل المقبل.
